Summer Camps 2012

With twenty-three years of service to the Tampa Bay area, once again All Star Sports is proud to host the best summer baseball & softball camp ever!  Each week of camp will be scheduled from 9:00am-2:00pm, Monday through Friday.  On Mondays and Fridays, we will hold camp at the air-conditioned All Star Indoor Training Complex.  Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays we will begin our day outside on All Star Field located at 4145 34th St North at VFW Post 6827.  Following several hours of on-field instruction, we will transport the campers to the air-conditioned comfort of All Star Sports to finish the day with hitting instruction and the ever popular wiffle ball game that tests both fielding and hitting skills.  These camps will specialize in the needs of 5-12 year olds, however other special individual age arrangements can be made. Tuition for a week of camp is $150.  Discounts are available for coming more than once and/or having siblings attend camp. Six, week-long camps will be held during the months of June to August. Camp dates for 2012 are as follows:  June 11 - 15,  June 25 - 29,  July 9 - 13,  July 23 - 27,  July 30 - August 3 and August 13 - 17.

Camp FAQ

Listed below are a couple frequently asked questions about our youth camps. Please take some time to read through these as they solve many issues and often answer questions you forget to ask!

Where are the camps held?

Our Spring, Summer and Winter Camps are held at our air conditioned indoor complex located at 3199  46th Ave N in St Petersburg, FL and outside on All Star Field at VFW Post 6827. The address for All Star Field is 4145 34th St N in St. Petersburg, FL. All of our camps are held at our indoor complex on Monday and Friday and at All Star Field Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Should weather change our plans we will transport the campers inside. Please make sure we have an accurate daytime phone number!  On the days that we are outside, you will drop the campers off at All Star Field and pick them up at the indoor complex.  We will conduct two-three hours of on-field instruction and when the weather turns hot or nasty, we will transport them over to the air conditioned comfort of All Star Sports Training.

Pitching Velocity Camps

Are you looking to increase the speed of your pitches?  All Star has a camp for you.  College pitching coach, Doug Banks, will conduct three-hour velocity camps inside the All Star complex.  The cost is $50 per session or $40 per session if you register for three or more camps.  Camp dates are as follows:

June 9 & 23

July 7 & 21

August 4 & 18

Campers aged 10 to 12 years old will attend camp from 10am to 1pm.  Campers aged 13 to 18 will attend camp from 2pm to 5pm.  Contact Ron Rhoads at 528-3186 to register for any or all of the six camps. 

Spring Break Camps

All Star Baseball & Softball School offers Spring Break Camps for both public and private/parochial schools. As you can see from the picture above, all of our kids have a great time in camp. What a wonderful group of kids! Click below to register and join in on the fun!
