College Bound










Spencer Heath recently signed to play collegiate baseball with Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia.  Spencer played high school baseball at Shorecrest Preparatory School as a catcher and first baseman.  Washington and Lee is a NCAA Division III member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference and is coached by Jeff Stickley who is serving his 26th season.

 

 

 

 

 

Ray Lanners, a catcher at Dixie Hollins High School, recently signed to play baseball with Methodist University, a NCAA Division III member of the USA South Athletic Conference.  Methodist University is located in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mariah Watts, a sophomore at Lakewood High School, has committed to play for Wisconsin.  Mariah wasted no time making her college decision, choosing Wisconsin over offers from the University of Central Florida and Massachusetts.  Mariah recorded 203 strikeouts as a freshman and 220 as a sophomore, ranking her as one of Pinellas County's previer power pitchers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

     

 

John Rothwell

Center fielder John Rothwell and pitcher Jordan Lindsay, both 2011 graduates of Shorecrest Preparatory High School and members of the All Star Baseball School family, have signed college scholarships to play baseball in the fall.  John will be attending Daytona State College in  Daytona Beach, FL and Jordan will attend Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, TN.  From all of the coaches and staff at All Star Baseball School, we wish John and Jordan the best of luck in their upcoming college baseball careers.
